How to Determine If Your System Is Compatible
Most alarm systems in use today are fully compatible with TMC monitoring. Here's how to quickly confirm yours.
Find Your Panel Brand
The manufacturer's name is typically located on your keypad or on the main alarm panel box in your utility room or closet. Look for Honeywell, DSC, GE, Alula, or similar.

What if my panel brand isn't listed here?
The brands shown are the most common systems we support, but we work with many more. Contact us with your panel details or a photo of your keypad and we'll confirm compatibility.
Do I need a technician to switch to TMC?
Yes. A technician visit is required as part of the switchover process. Our team will schedule a convenient appointment to reprogram your existing panel and get you set up with TMC monitoring.
What if my equipment is old or outdated?
Age alone doesn't determine compatibility. Many older panels still communicate reliably. If your system is too outdated, we'll let you know your upgrade options — often at very low cost.
Will I need a new communicator?
It depends on how your current system communicates. If it uses a phone line (POTS), you may need a cellular communicator upgrade. We'll assess this during your free compatibility check.
Can you monitor business alarm systems too?
Yes. We support residential and commercial alarm systems. The same panel brands and models are used across both, and we have monitoring plans suited to business needs.
How do I know what model my Honeywell or DSC panel is?
The model number is often printed on the keypad face or on a label inside the main panel box. You can also email us a photo and our specialists will identify it for you.
